                       "Has Charge of Funeral"

            THOMAS BATIPPS a media undertaker will have charge of
        the funeral of WILMER T. POTTS, the colored man who was
        hung at West Chester, yesterday morning, for the murder of
        his wife in Coatesville last December. Mr. BATIPPS took
        charge of the body shortly after the execution yesterday
        morning and while the arrangements for the funeral have been
        made, they are not to be made public in order that there may
        be no crowds of curious people there. Interment will be made
        in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Chester County.
 
 
Note: WILMER T. POTTS, was the last man executed by hanging in Chester County.
