  Renovo Man Gets Navy Commission
  
  Phil A. Miller, left above, receives his commission as an ensign in the U. S. 
  Navy from Commanding Officer Captain Harry H. Greer, Jr. at Great Lakes Naval 
  Training Station.  Miller had just completed the Limited Duty Officers Program 
  and now goes to Newport, R. I. for six weeks training before duty aboard the 
  aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk now under construction in Camden, N. J.
  
  Before entering the Navy 16 years ago Miller attended Sugar Valley Vocational 
  school.  He is the son of Mrs. John Paul, Renovo, and husband of the former 
  Doris J. Styers of Lock Haven.
