John DuBois, who succeeded his uncle to the possessions
of the vast DuBois estate, is described as "a tall, ungainly
young man." He is worth $8,000,000. He owns 24,000 acres
of land in Clearfield county alone. He is 26 years old
and is not married. He don't drink and don't smoke.
He goes to bed early and gets up early and is very sensible.
We hope he will remain so; that he will marry some real
lovely Bellefonte young lady, and that he and his bride
will use their money wisely and usefully. - Bellefonte
Daily News. If the young millionaire is unable to find
a young lady who suits his fancy among Bellefonte beauties,
let him come over to Huntingdon where pretty girls are to
be found without number.
