That valuable and well known FARM, late the property of James Quin, (sic
Quein) deceased, situate in Honeybrook township, Chester county, will be offered 
at public sale, on WEDNESDAY, the 4th of November, 1840. This property lies on 
the Downingtown and Harrisburg turnpike, within 1 mile of Waynesburg, and 12 of 
Downingtown; it adjoins lands of William M'Connell, Jacob M'Connell and others; 
containing ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR ACRES of first rate land; 20 acres of 
which is timber. This property is well watered, having a branch of the 
Brandywine running through it, and stock can be watered in any of the fields. 
The land is in a high state of cultivation, having been well limed over within 
the last six or eight years. The improvements are a large well finished STONE 
HOUSE, two stories high, stone BARN, 80 by 45 feet, wagon house, carriage house, 
spring house over a never failing spring, and a well of water with a pump in it 
near the door. The buildings are nearly new, and in good repair, and the land is 
under good fence. This farm is surpassed bt few if any in the county. It is in a 
good and healthy neighborhood, convenient to mills, schools, and places of 
public worship of different denominations. Thereon is an orchard of well 
selected fruit. Any persons desirous are invited to call and view the property 
previous to the day of sale.
