A Family Reunion
A congenial reunion of the Hart Family took place in Miles' Grove, Uwchlan, on
Saturday last under the supervision of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Miles. Regardless of
the unfavorable appearance of the weather in the morning the different branches
of the family came from far and near until the gathering was increased to about
fifty. Each indulged heartily in the distribution of wit and humor, the old
folks appearing to enjoy a good joke as richly as in days long past. As is
usual on such occasions the delicacies were not forgotten. The home being too
small to accommodate the assembly, they repaired to the grove near by and there
on spotless linen found piles of everything that was tempting to the palate.

The day wore on very pleasantly. The older heads sat down to patch up memory
with memory the intervening years since their separation and live over again in
their imagination the days of their childhood, while the youth of the party
collected on the lawn and enjoyed themselves at innocent games, such as tucker,
croquet, etc. Representatives of the family were present from Reading,
Philadelphia, Coatesville, Atlantic City, Spring City, Mortonville, and Warwick.

James Orr, of White Horse, will give an evening sociable on Thursday evening.
It will be managed by Jesse D. Haycock.
