Last evening Charles E. Jenkins, of West Gay St this borough 
was the victim of a surprise party on the celebration of his 
birthday,when thirty or more of his friends called at his home 
where they passed the evening in a pleasant manner with games, 
music,etc. followed by refreshments. (50th)
