Mr. and Mrs. Charles Piersol, of Concord, have issued invitations for a number 
of friends to meet with them on Saturday evening and celebrate the 25th 
anniversary of thier wedding.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Piersol, at Concordville, was the scene of 
a brilliant and social gathering on the evening of May 27th, it being the 
twenty-fifth anniversary of their wedding.  The affair proved a decided success 
in every particular and was the scene of some very elaborate costumes.  The 
house was beautifully decorated with flowers and the beauty of the scene was 
brilliantly illuminated with Japanese lantern, which were hung in great 
profusion around the spacious grounds surrounding the house.  The most notable 
feature of the occasion was eh very elaborate repast, which was served from 5 
until 9 o'clock, under the direction of a competent chef, and was voted by one 
and all as proof of the ability of the genial host and hostess to win the 
hearts of their friends providing the many good things for the inner man  
Music, both vocal and instrumental, was rendered by several competent 
performers.  The host and hostess were the recipients of many beautiful and 
elaborate gifts as tokens of the very warm regards in which they are held by 
their many friends.  Covers were laid for 150 guests, among whom were the most 
prominent people of the social set.  Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles

Piersol, William B. Miller, Miss Anna Miller, Dr. H.H. Darlington and wife,

S.N. Hill, S.N. Hill, Jr., and wife, P.E. Sharpless and wife, Walter Fairlamb

After spending a very pleasant and sociable evening the many friends retired at 
a late hour expressing their pleasure in very warm tones and wishing the 
esteemed host and hostess a long and blessed life, hoping they might be able to 
meet them at the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding.
