Anniversary Party
L - 6-29-1905
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. BAKER of Glenloch, were delightfully
surprised upon the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage, Wednesday,
October 25, by a number of their relatives and friends calling upon them and
offering their congratulations and hearty good wishes for many happy
returns of the day.
The day was perfect in every particular, ideal Autumn weather, and the
numerous guests entered into the spirit of the occasion with joy, responding
with fervor to the invitations sent by the ladies in charge, whose efficiency
added much to make the day one long to be remembered. A delicious dinner
was daintily served, and according to the adage, "the proof of the pudding is
the eating," therefore, with one accord the repast was pronounced good. The
bride was kindly remembered by numerous handsome gifts.
