The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) November 4, 1871
Mr. Conrad Suppes is determined that his new hotel shall not lack for sanitary
regulations; consequently he has caused a large subterranean drain to be made from
the hotel on Clinton street down Levergood street to the river, a distance of forty
rods or more. This drain will be a great drain on Mr. S.'s pocket-book, but will be
of incalculable advantage. Johnstown, Nov. 2, 1871
