MESSENGER BOY INJURED

  Yesterday morning at 8 o'clock Keller Hirschbeil, of 1301 Sixth avenue, was 
seriously injured when he was struck and run over by the J. B. Felty candy 
truck.  The boy is employed as a messenger by the Western Union and was 
riding a bicycle at the time of the accident, which occurred at the P.R.R. 
warehouse.  One wheel of the truck passed over the abdomen, but no bones were 
broken.  The young man was removed to the Altoona hospital where his injuries 
were dressed, but his condition is not immediately critical.  Keller is a son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hirschbeil of the above address, and is 14 years of 
age.
