P.R.R. CLERK PROMOTED

C. J. Bashears Leaves Today to Take Position in Philadelphia

  C. J. Bashears, the well-known P.R.R. clerk and stenographer at W. F. 
Taylor, chief transportation clerk in the P. R. R. offices of Altoona, will 
leave today, with his family, to assume a position in the office of General 
Superintendent of Transportation Charles M. Shaeffer, at Broad street 
station, Philadelphia.  He will leave on the Lehigh express today at noon.  
He is well known about the general superintendent's office and his many 
friends and his many friends will regret his departure as well as rejoice in 
his merited promotion.
