Pittsburgh Evening Chronicle 
The Arrangements for the Demonstration on Friday
At a meeting of the committe last night the following program for the school
children's jubilee on Friday afternoon was adopted: The schools will leave
their respective school houses so as to reach the Park before 4:30 o'clock.
The Second ward bell will ring at 4:30 o'clock, when the schools will march
into the Park and take the places assigned to them. At 7:30 o'clock the
Second ward school bell will ring as a signal for all to get off the grass.
The following named gentlemen were appointed a sub-committee to arrange the
details of the jubilee: H. M. DUNLAP, Second ward; John TRIMBLE, Sixth
ward; Mr. MILLER, Fourth ward; D.L. SMITH, Third ward; Dr. HAMILTON, First
ward. Six bands are engaged for this occasion: Duquesne Band, L. STOERKEL
leader with First ward; R.B. Robinson Band, T.F. KIRK leader, with Second
ward; Cathedral Band, L. P. YEAGER leader, with Third ward; Stahley's Band,
STAHLEY leader, Fourth ward; Great Western Band, B. WEIS leader, Fifth &
Sixth wards; Keystone Band, F. TEUFEL, Thirteenth ward. Lost children will
be taken to the office of the Park Superintendent at the green-house, where
they can be recovered by their parents. Any children not called for at 7:30
o'clock will be taken to the Mayor's office.
