Man on Trial for Murder Names Former Waynesburger as Criminal

STEUBENVILLE, O., March 19.-- (Special)---Testimony in the trial of Moses
Chivers for the alleged murder of James Cummings of Pittsburg closed this
afternoon. The last witness was Chivers, who denied any connection with the crime.

He placed the guilt on Richard Jenkins, whom he said he had thus far been
shielding. Jenkins formerly lived in Waynesburger, Pa., and was once a prize
fighter. Among the character witnesses were several past and present National
Amalgamated Association officers from Pittsburg.

Additional Comments:
I have two other articles that pertain to this case. This is the shortest one.
I would be happy to mail, fax, or attach file with all three articles. J.
