The Rev. Joseph A. BURGOON is in attendance at the elaborate ceremonies and 
receptions being tendered this week at St. Paul's Cathedral, Pittsburgh, on 
the occasion of the consecration of Rt. Rev'd. Hugh C. BOYLE, as sixth 
bishop of the Pittsburgh diocese.
 
On Tuesday evening he participated in the reception to Cardinal 
DOUGHERTY of the Arch diocese of Philadelphia; on Wednesday morning at the 
consecration of bishop BOYLE at the Cathedral, and the banquet at the 
William Penn; and on Wednesday evening, at the public diocesan reception to 
Rt. Rev'd. Hugh C. BOYLE at Syria Mosque, Pittsburgh, Pa. The new bishop of 
the Pittsburgh diocese, Rt. Rev'd Hugh C. BOYLE, and Father BURGOON spent 
nine years together in their college and seminary courses at St. Vincent 
college and Seminary Beatty, Pa., near Latrobe.
