Point.
NOVEMBER 28.  An infant son of Jno. W. Davis, of Tull's Hill, died of croup 
November 25 and was interred in the cemetery at New Paris on Monday.
A daughter was born to Charles and Maggie Ickes November 24.
Our aged friend, Wm. H. Shaffer, and Harry Otto paid Hollidaysburg and Altoona 
a visit from Thursday until Sunday.
W. H. Defibaugh started at twelve o'clock on Sunday night to bring W. S. Otto 
home on account of the critical illness of his aged mother, who resides at St. 
Clairsville.
C. P. Smith and Mrs. Mary McCreary started for Windber on Sunday after having 
spent two weeks at their old home.
William Studebaker, who has been working in the Westinghouse works at 
Pittsburg, is at home visiting his father, Rudolph Studebaker.  He expects to 
remain  couple of weeks.
George Griffith is spending a vacation of a few days at his home.  Mr. 
Griffith is employed in the planing mill at Windber.
Bert Egolf has at last got his new saw mill on the ground on the farm of 
Gabriel Hull near this place and will soon have it in running order.
Miss Mollie Douglas of Fulton county, is visiting friends in Napier township 
and Mann's Choice.
Jacob Bisel and wife visited friends in West St. Clair township from Saturday 
to Monday.
