Bedford Gazette; Bedford, Pennsylvania December 8, 1899
Mann's Choice.

DECEMBER 4-- William Clark is critically ill with rheumatism.
Our schools are progressing nicely under the management of Prof. Jamison,
Prof. Clark and Miss Elnora Kinton.
George Koontz will move to the M. T. Sams house on Main Street.
The tannery at this place has not changed hands yet, as was reported in
Thropp's paper, the Hawkeye. The selling of the grist mill has nothing to do
with the tannery. Try again, Hawkeye. Anything that happened a month ago can
be seen in the last issue of the Hawkeye, as it seems to be a review of old
things and never gives the latest news.
W. H. Cuppett is still suffering from a fall from a load of hay some time in
August.
Calvin Waters has moved from our town to the property of Jacob Hoover, lately
purchased from Henry Lybarger.
FAIR PLAY.
