BEDFORD COUNTIAN CITED FOR BRAVERY

Special to the Tribune.
  Bedford, August 16. - Another Bedford county boy has been cited for bravery 
in France, John R. Warmuth, of Cumberland valley, who is with the 112th 
infantry.  He is a son of John and Dora Warmuth, residing a few miles from 
this place, in Cumberland valley, Bedford township.  He enlisted over a year 
ago in company L, Eighth regiment, which after being sent to Camp Hancock, 
Ga., was divided and the young man, with other Bedford county boys, was 
placed in company A, 112th infantry.  He is about 19 years of age and before 
enlisting was a farmer.  He has a sister, Mrs. John H. Williams, at 
Schellsburg.
