BAKER'S SUMMIT

  Mrs. Burger Ritchey gave her husband a little surprise party last Thursday 
night to a few of his many friends in honor of his 29th birthday anniversary.  
When the people began coming in Burger being very much surprised hied to the 
cornfield but was caught before he got very far, he was brought back to the 
house with his pantaloons rolled up to his knees, sleeves rolled above the 
elbows and collar turned in at the neck, ready for whatever came before him.

Meyers; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Klotz and children Rosa and Ida; Mr. and Mrs. J. 
T. Barley, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Brumbaugh; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Long and 
children, Wilfred and Charles; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Claar; Mr. and Mrs. Frank

At the midnight hour the table was spread with a beautiful lunch prepared by 
Mrs. Richey which all done ample justice, all departed to their homes at an 
early hour wishing Mr. Ritchey many more happy birthdays.
