McCracken-DeBerry

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. DeBerry, Jr., went to Detroit, Mich., for a
wedding trip, following their marriage on Wednesday, November 26, 1947.
The double ring wedding rites took place at 3:45 o'clock in the
parsonage of the Center Hill Church of the Brethren. About 20 relatives
and friends of the couple were present as Rev. W. K. Kulp read the ceremony.

Ferns and chrysanthemums decorated the parsonage for the occasion. Mrs.
Kulp played "The Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin".

Mrs. DeBerry is the former Wilda M. McCracken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel McCracken of Sarver R.D. 1. A graduate of Freeport high school,
class of 1946, she has been employed as a clerk at Cramer's Dairy store.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. DeBerry of West
Winfield. He is a veteran of about two year's service in the Army Air
Corps. He graduated from West Winfield high school in 1944, and is now
employed at the West Penn Cement Plant.

The couple was unattended for their wedding.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a crepe dress
in an aqua shade. Her accessories were brown and she had a corsage of
baby chrysanthemums and pink tea roses.

A wedding dinner was served to 20 guests at the Kittanning Country Club.
For the present Mr. and Mrs. DeBerry will reside with the bridegroom's
parents.
