Raftsman's Journal. (Clearfield, Pa.) January 27, 1858
Wm. S. Kead, in Latrobe, was broken into on the night of the 14th, and seven and a
half dollars in money and two carpet sacks, containing some new clothing and ribbons
stolen. The carpet sacks and all the goods except a coat, instead of which the thief
left his old one, were afterwards found lying at the station house.
