The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: July 30, 1868 July 1868

Mrs. Kate Moore, of Bell township, Westmoreland county, was noticed going into an
old cooper shop at Huff's salt works, one day not long since, and shortly after the
dead body of a child was found secreted in the wells near the building. The child is
supposed to have died from neglect or violence, and Mrs. Moore, who has been
separated from her husband for two years, is supposed to be the inhuman mother. Not
yet arrested.
