The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) June 16, 1870
A horse stolen near Youngstown, Westmoreland county, was recovered at Munster, this
county, and the thief captured near that place, one day last week, through the
efforts of R. H. Brown, Esq., of Cresson, who deserves much credit for bringing
about the result. The thief, who is now in jail at Greensburg, says that he belongs
to an organized band of horse thieves, and proposes to get himself out of trouble by
exposing his associates.
