The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) January 31, 1873
A member of the order of St. Benedict, at St. Vincent's College, near Latrobe, met
with a tragic death a few days ago. A ladder broke under him and precipitated him a
distance of thirty-four feet. Some of the rungs broke his ribs and drove them into
his lungs, causing almost instant death. Dr. Walters was sent for to hold a
postmortem examination.
