Raftsman's Journal. (Clearfield, Pa.) February 3, 1858
At Livermore, a short time since, two boys quarreled, when one named Pierce, threw a
stick 16 inches long, at the other, named Quinly, striking him on the temple,
inflicting apparently but slight wound. Inflammation ensued, terminating in lockjaw
and finally in death.
