The Ligonier Echo Wed, Oct 21, 1914
Mrs. Catherine Bishop, of Clarence, Shelby county, Mo., died Wednesday morning,
October 14, 1914, at 2 o'clock, aged 92 years, 2 months and 3 days. She was a
sister of Harvey B. Clark, of Ligonier, he being the youngest and now only
survivor of a family of nine children. She was married to Robert Bishop, of
Ligonier township, and a few years after or in 1856 moved to Missouri. Her
husband died in 1884. She is survived by one son and four daughters and several
grandchildren. Mrs. Bishop had suffered a paralytic stroke some years ago and
had been in feeble health for a long time.
