Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Sep 05, 1995 
Charles G. Brant, 73, of Latrobe, died Friday Sept. 1, 1995, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 17, 1921, In Latrobe, a son of the late Francis and Bertha
(Hill] Brant. Prior to his retirement In 1983, he was employed by Teledyne Vasco
in Derry Twp., with 42 years of service. He was a member of Bethany United
Methodist Church and Cooperstown Veterans and Sportsmen's Club, both of Latrobe
and a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army in the European
Theater. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria F. McCracken Brant; two
daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Charlene) Pohland of Derry and Mrs. Regis (Marilyn)
Toner of Latrobe; a son, Charles G. Brant Jr. of Latrobe; six grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Grace Miller, Jean Lohr, Betty Bridge
and Mrs. David (Kathleen) McIlnay, all of Latrobe, and a number of nieces and
nephews. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Monday in Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with
Pastor August B. Twigg officiating. Interment followed in Unity Cemetery, Unity
Township.
