Latrobe Bulletin Fri May 28, 1971
Mrs. Hannah Agnes Baldwin, 83, Greensburg RD 5 (Mutual), died Wednesday evening
in Greensburg. Born April 11, 1888, in Hempfield Twp., she was a daughter of the
late George and Sarah King Stape and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry
Baldwin. Surviving are three children: Joseph A. Gongaware, Vandergrift: Lewis
Gongaware, Homestead, and Mrs. Deryl (Catherine) DeBilzan. Belleville, Mich.;
two stepchildren. Mrs. Percy (Emily) Coombs, Davenport. Iowa, and Mrs. William
(Martha) Dunn, Pittsburgh; 25 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary McDermott, Mt.
Pleasant RD 1; a half-brother, George Stape. Jeannette, and four half-sisters:
Mrs. Rachael Smith, Panama City, Fla., and Mrs. Cecelia Sadler; Mrs. Gertrude
Rupert and Mrs. Regina Miller, all of Greensburg. Friends are being received at
the James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
daily. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Florian Catholic
Church, United, the Rev. Fabian G. Oris celebrant. Interment will be in
Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
