Funeral services for the late Mrs. Harriet Steele Anderson, whose death occurred
at her home on Chestnut street Sunday night, were held yesterday afternoon at
her late residence with Rev. Paul H. McKee, pastor of the First Presbyterian
church, in charge. Dr. J. K. Brallier, Ed Anderson, Walter S. Thomas, Dr. H. R.
Mather, James H. Rogers and Evan Moberg were the pallbearers. Relatives and
friends from a distance who attended the services, included: Mrs. Alice
McChesney, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Richey and Mrs. Gertrude Owens and son, Junior, of
Greensburg; James Steele, Mrs. Elizabeth Steele and daughter Miss Olive, and
son, Paul, of Ruffsdale: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lightcap and Dr. Robert Steele, of
California, Pa.; Charles McChesney and daughter, Elizabeth, with Miss Alice
Richey, of Wilkinsburg; Homer Stockberger, of Detroit, Mich.; Carl Sipe and Mr.
and Mrs. John Robb, of Beaver Falls; Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Meyers, of South Fork;
James Young, of Derry; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Steele, Mr. and Mrs. George Kepple
and daughter, Marie, with Mr. and Mrs. David Kepple, of New Alexandria.
