I Edward Williams of the township of Blockley in the County of Philadelphia in 
Pennsylvania being advanced in years but of sound mind and memory thanks to 
God therefore do think  [propose] to dispose of such property as divine 
Providence hath blessed me with by making this my last Will and Testament as 
follows to wits I order & direct that all my Just debts and funeral expenses 
be in the first place fully paid and satisfied by my Executors herein after 
named.  I give and devise to my Grand Children (the Children of my Daughter 
late wife of Jonathan Robeson) to wit Edward Robeson , Ann Robeson, Elizabeth 
Robeson, Joseph Robeson & Mary Robeson Thirty Pounds, each to be paid them by 
my Executors on this [enpay] condition only.  That I shall before my decease 
or my Executors after my decease receive of Matthew McConnell his Heirs 
Executors or Admor .The sum of seven hundred Pounds with the Interest due 
thereon which he the said Matthew McConnell owes me on Bond but should the 
same never be recovered or received the above devises to be none effect and 
all the rest residue & remainder of my Estate or in case the above mentioned 
money due my on Bond should never be received then in that case I give and 
devise all my Estate whether real personal or mixed of what kind nature of 
quality soever or wheresoever (Edwd Williams) the same may be in manner 
following to wits One equal fourth part thereof to the children of my 
Granddaughter Hannah Ridgeway - One other equal fourth part to my 
Granddaughter Sarah Bogar or her Heirs & Assigns One equal fourth part to my 
Grandson William Coulton his Heirs and Assigns and the remaining fourth part 
thereof to my Grand Daughter Lydia Smith her Heirs and Assigns - I nominate 
constitute and appoint  my trusty friends William Warner and William Coulton 
to be Executors of this my last Will & Testament In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my Hand and Seal Dated the fifth day of February in the year of 
our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and three Edwd Williams {some type of 
seal} Signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said Edward 
Williams as for his last Will & Testament in the presence of us who have 
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in his presence and at his request -

Philada Aug 27th 1804 Their personally appeared Nathan Sellers & Davis Sellers 
The witnesses to the foregoing will and on their Solemn Affirmations did 
declare & say that they saw and heard Edward Williams the Testator sign seal 
publish & declare the same for his last will & Testament and that by doing 
thereof he was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their 
knowledge and belief
