In the matter of the Last Will and Testament of Cyrus Smith late of 
Philadelphia, PA

Be it remembered at a Term of the Honorable Court of Common Pleas with and for 
the County of Ashtabula and State of Ohio begun and held at the Court ______ 
______ the
_______ ______ said County on the fourteenth day of March in the year of our 
Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight, came Davies Fear in and brought 
into Court an authenticated copy of the Last Will and Testament .  Cyrus T. 
Smith late of the City of Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania deceased 
which was heretofore,  as will herein after appear.  Admitted to Record by and 
before______  ______ proof of the Probate of Wills and Granting letters of 
Administration.  In and for the city and County of Philadelphia in the 
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ______  ______  ______ of the same was admitted to 
Record in the Court with the accompaning certificates was admitted to Record
in this Court which Said ______  ______ certificates are in the words and 
figures follow-
ing, to wit.  "Know all men that I Cyrus T. Smith now of the city of 
Philadelphia - State of Pennsylvania will ______  ______ body and of ______ sane 
mind and discretion do hereby publish and de_____ ______ to my Last will and 
Testament and after the payment of all my ______ debts do hereby bequeath to my 
wife Charlotte Smith my Real and Personal ______ lying and being in the City of 
Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania ______  ______  ______ the same to her 
and her heirs forever.  Alas, I Hereby bequeath to my wife Charlotte Smith Lot 
No. 80 containing Eighty and one acres.  No. 88 containing ______  ______  
______ half.  No. 102 containing seventy nine acres
of the Farm lots of the town of Jefferson, County of Ashtabula, State of Ohio.  
Also, Lots No. 185, 186 253 ______  ______  ______ Eight acre Lots lying and 
being in the Town and County in the State aforesaid containing in all Two 
Hundred and forty two acres and
all other property ______  _______  ______  _______ lying and being in the 
County of Ashtabula, State of Ohio, to have and to hold the same to her and to 
her heirs forever.  
And I hereby bequeath to my wife Charlotte Smith all real, mixed and Personal 
______  ______  ______ may be either in possession  ______ which may be reduced 
to possession after collateral and hold the same to her and her heirs forever.  
I furthermore 
do ______ create and make my one and truly wife Charlotte Smith Executrix.  Do 
______ effect all the foregoing provisions of my will.  In testimony whereof 
______  ______ my hand and affix my seal this first day of March in the year of 
our Lord eighteen hundred

Keith and Margaret G. Rhees the subscribing ______ to the foregoing will of 
Cyrus T. Smith deceased and on their Solemn Oaths did say that they were present 
and did see and 
hear Cyrus T. Smith, deceased, the testator therein named Sign, Seal, publish 
and de-
clare the ______  ______  ______ for his last will and testament and that in the 
doing thereof he was of sound, disposing mind, memory and understanding to the 
best of their knowledge and belief.  Mary Keith, Margaret G. Rhees Sworn and

truly administer the goods and chattles, rights and credits of said deceased 
agreeably to law and that I will comply with the provisions of the law relating 
to collateral inheritance.
