In the Name of God Amen. I Jacob Schreiner of the City of Philadelphia, 
Skinner, being advanced in years though in health of body and of sound memory 
and understanding thanks be to God for calling to mind the mortality of my 
body and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die do make and ordain 
this my last Will and Testament. That is to say principally and first of all I 
give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it and my 
Body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the 
discretion of my Executors. And as to such worldly Estate wherewith it has 
pleased God to bless me in this life. I give demise and dispose of the same in 
the following manner. 

First  I give unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Schreiner all my household and 
Kitchen Furniture and all my Plate and also One Thousand Pounds in cash or 
money on interest and also one Third of the Yearly rent or Income of my House 
in Second Street during her life after Taxes and necessary Repairs have been 
deducted and as to the remainder of my Estate it is my Will that the same both 
Real and Personal shall be Divided amongst my children share and share alike. 
That is to say one year after my Decease my children who then are of the full 
Age of Twenty one years shall each of them receive their full share of 
Personal Estate. Except as to my Daughter Caty Criseum. It is my Will that her 
share shall remain or be put out on Entrest by my Executors on good and 
sufficient security and pay unto her into her own hands and no bodies else the 
yearly Enterest or Income thereof and take her own receipt for it as long as 
her Present Husband George Criseum shall live or be her Husband and if he 
should happen to Die before her or be Devorst from her, so that he is her 
Husband no more. Then my Executors shall pay unto her & into hands All that 
full share what is coming unto her and if my said Daughter should die before 
her present Husband George Criseum Then her share shall remain on Entrest 
until her children shall come of Age and shall be divided amongst them share 
and share alike.

Item it is my will that my mother Catherine Meng shall be maintained  out of 
the rents or Income of my House (after my Wifes Third is first taken of) So 
far as to boarding and lodging as her own money which she has on Enterest will 
be suficent to find her in cloaths.

Item it is my will that my wife shall receive that part of the yearly Enterest 
and Income which shall arise on the two shares of my Son Henry and Daughter 
Rebbecca so long as under Age for her bringing them and giving them Proper 
Education lerning which shall be in full for her so doing without making any 
further charges.

Item it is my Will that the Remainder part of the Rent or Income of my house 
in Second street after my Wife third and my mothers maintenance is taken of be 
but to the maintenance of my three minors That is to my Son Samuel my Son 
Henry & Daughter Rebbecca. So that my Wife shall receive Two thirds there of 
for my Son Henry and Daughter. And is my Will that my Executors shall let out 
my House in Second Street for as much as it will fetch and be kept in good and 
Suficent Repair until my youngest child will be of Age then my Executors shall 
sell my House at Public Sale to the Highest Bidder and the money thereof shall 
be divided amongst my children share & share alike agreeable to this will. But 
if my Wife should then be alife it is my will that one third of the Money 
arising from the sale of the house shall be put on Enterest which Enterest she 
my said Widow shall receive during her life & after her Death that Third Part 
shall be Divided amongst my children share & share alike agreeable to this 
Will. And as to my Plantation in Northampton County which belongs One half to 
Philip Boekms Estate it is my Will that my Executors shall sell it as soon as 
a Purchaser Offers who will give a Reasonable Price for the same and when the 
Money is paid my Executors shall pay unto the hairs of the late Philip Boekm 
Devised the one half of the money arising from it and concerning my little 
Estate in Spring Garden it is my Will that my Executors shall also sell it as 
soon as may be & Devided the money arising from it amongst my children 
agreeable to this will.

Item I give unto my brother Nicholas Schreiner all my cloaths or Wearing 
Apparel & 6 of my Shirts & my Silver shoe and tinee Buckles and unto my Son 
Jacob my Gold Sleeve Buttons.

Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Christopher and my son Jacob 
and my son in law William Krieter Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

Witness my Hand this fifth day of December Anno Domini One thousand seven 
hundred and ninty two.

Jacob R. Howell of the City of Philadelphia Esq. Notary Public & Attorney at 
Law & John Roush of Race Street both of the City of Philadelphia on their 
Solemn Affirmation and Oath do declare depose and say that they were for many 
years last past well acquainted with Jacob Schreiner late of the City of 
Philadelphia deceased and with his hand writing having often seen him write & 
Say they have viewed particularly the paper Writing thereunto annexed 
purporting to be the last Will & Testament of the said Jacob Schreiner and Do 
declare depose and say that the whole of the said Writing and every Part 
thereof as well as the Name Jacob Schreiner Subscribed thereto is all of the 
proper hand Writing and signature of the said Jacob Schreiner deceased and 
that the same contains his true last Will & Testament so far as they know & to 
the best of their knowledge and belief.

Taken and Sworn before the 25th Day of September 1793.

The foregoing Will being proved probate thereof was granted unto Jacob 
Schreiner and Willian Krieter Executors therein named they being first duly 
Qualified truly to perform the same exhibit a true Inventory and render a just 
and true account when thereunto lawfully required.
