IN THE NAME of GOD AMEN the last Will & Testament
of Richard Nelson being very Sick & weak of of Body as followeth
First I commend my Soul to Allmighty God that gave it & my Body
to be buried in a desent and Christian like manner. I do give & bequeath
unto William Horner my Bible & my Shoes I do give and bequeath
unto Abraham Pratt all my money waring Apparill Chest & all
things else that is mine And do appoint the sd Abraham Pratt
Sole Executor of this my Will IN WITNESS whereof I doe hereunto
Set my Hand and Seale this thirtieth day of August in the year of our
Lord one thousand Seven hundred & Seven RICH NELSON Seal

Philadia September 26 1707 Then personally appeared Thomas Pratt
& Peter Taylor the Witnesses above named & on their Solemn Affirma:
cons according to Law did declare that they Saw the above named
Richard Neelson Sign Seal Publish & Declare the above writing to
be his last Will & Testament & that at the doing thereof he was of
Sound mind, memory, & understanding to the best of their Knowledge

Be it Remember that ye Twenty sixth day of 7ber 1707 The last Will
& Testamt
of Rich Nelson was proved in due form of Law And probate Lrs of
Administration was
granted to Abraham Pratt Solo Execeutor in the sd Will named being
first Sworn well &
truely to Admr the Same & to bring an Inventory of the Deced's
Estate into the Regr's office at
Philada on or before ye 26th 8ber next [So?] also to render accot when
requierd

Note from Vince: 8ber is the eighth month, or October under the old
numbering. Some abbreviations were:
accot (the t superscripted to indicate an abbreviation for account)
sd = said
Philada = Philad and superscripted a for abbreviation of Philadelphia
Neelson is the way it was spelled (in error) at one point.
ye = the
the lines at the end were too long, so I place the remainder just
under the line to which they belonged.
colons were used instead of a dash, to continue the word on the
next line
Philada was formed as Philadia in one line
Lrs = Letters
Admr = Administer
do was spelt doe at one point
the other misspellings were the error of the scribe, and not me,
even the word requierd
