The Last Will & Testament of Stephen Miller dec'd
Book H, Page 246 &c

In ye Name of God amen I Stephen Miller of Amity, in the County of Philada.
being Sick and weak in body but of a Sound mind and memory, Thanks be given
to God for ye same, and Calling to mind ye uncertainty of this Life, and that
it is appointed once for men to dye:  Do make this my last will and testament
in manner and form following:  Hereby disannulling and making void all other
and former Wills by me made either in word or writing.  
Imprimis, in ye first place my will is that my just debts that I owe to any
person be first Paid, and that in ye next place my mind and will is that ye
residue be divided in manner and form following:  Viz. 
I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary five Shillings, She having been
allready provided for.
I give and bequeath unto my Son Stephen Two horses ye bay one Called Dick and
ye black Stallion
I give unto my Daughter Sarah Two Cows at her own Choice and five ews.  
I give unto my Son Samuel my Horse Taff, and two ews.
I give unto my Son Henry the Hundred Acres of Land more or less adjoyning
Harmon Richmans in Amity Township, and to him his Heirs and assigns
forever:  upon these provisos following:
First That my wife Joana enjoy ye Same until Such time as he arrive unto ye
age of one and twenty years.
Secondly That he pay as a portion unto his Sister Elizabeth ye Sume of thirty
pounds, when She Shall arrive at ye age of Eighteen years.
Thirdly, That he pay as a portion unto his Sister Martha ye Sume of thirty
pounds when She Shall arrive to ye age of Eighteen years.  
I Likewise order and appoint that all my moveables be Sold in order to pay
and discharge all my debts, ye Legacies excepted, and what further I do
hereby leave my beloved wife Joana.  
I give unto my wife Joana all my pewter (two basons and one dish Excepted
which I give to my daughter Sarah that hath her mother's mark).  I give
likewise unto my wife my riding horse and her Side Saddle: and one feather
bed, linnin Tickon and its furniture I give also to my daughter Sarah.  
I give unto my wife one feather bed with Holland Tickin and its furniture and
one wallnut Chest.  But if my Son Henry, Elizabeth or Martha Should hapen to
dye before they arrive to their Several ages, then ye Survivor or Survivors
Shall have ye Same Share equally divided between them.  But if my Said three
Children Henry, Elizabeth and Martha Should all dye before they arrive unto
their Several ages:  Then I give and bequeath unto my wife Joana all their
Several Legacies and portions to be enjoyed by her during her Natural life
and after her decease to go to my other Children or ye Survivors of them or
ye heirs of them to be equally divided.    
I Likewise give my best Suit of Clothes unto my son Stephen and the next best
Suit unto my Son Samuel.  
I likewise nominate and appoint my wife Joana together with George Boone
Esqr. to be my Executors of this my last will and Testament.

Be it remembered that on ye 20th day of February, 1746, the above named
Stephen Miller published, pronounced, and declared the above or within writen
Will to be his last will and Testament and Signed and Sealed the same in our
presents.

Then personally appd. Jacob Warren & Isaac Dilbeck two of the witnesss. to
the foregoing will and on their Solemn affirmation according to Law did
Declare & affirm they Saw and heard Stephen Miller the Testator therein named
Sign, Seal, Publish & declare the Same will for & as his Last will & Testament
and that at the Doing thereof he was of Sound Mind Memory and Understandg. to
ye best of their knowledge and That Isaac Wiseman the other witness thereto
did also Subscribe his Name as a witness in the presence of & at request of
the Testator.
