I, James I. Beatty, of the Borough of West Indiana, County of Indiana and State of
Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and disposing memory and understanding, do
make, publish, and declare this instrument of writing to be my last will and
testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time
heretofore by me made
After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses by my executor
hereinafter named, I will, devise, and bequeath ( subject to the conditions
hereinafter mentioned ) , all my real, personal and mixed estate to Mrs. Jane Barr,
wife of John G. Barr, of Green Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
The condition however to which the above devise and bequest is that in case my
wife should survive me, the said Jane Barr shall provide for, care for, and
maintain her during the remainder of her natural life.
Lastly I nominate, constitute, and appoint Jane Barr to be the sole executor of
this, my last will and testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal, this seventh day of December, 1886Signed James I. Beatty (his

Be it remembered that on the twenty fifth day of January A.D.1888 before me J.G.
Griffith, ,Deputy Register of Wills in and for said County , was duly proved and
approved the foregoing instrument of writing as and for the last will and testament of
James I. Beatty who died Oct. 30, 1887 by the oaths of John A Scott and George W.
Hood the subscribing witnesses thereto. and now January 31, 1888 letters testamentary
granted to Mrs, Jame Barr the executrix.of said will. , having first been duly sworn
