In the name of God Amen, I Robert McCreery of East Mahoning Township
Indiana County State of Pennsylvania (farmer) being in comfortable
health at present but feeling the uncertainty of life and the
certainty of death and being sound in mind and memory (thanks be to
God for the same) and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs
while I have strength and capacity, so to do I do make and publish
this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all
former wills by me made at any time heretofore. First and especialy I
commit my soul to God who gave it giving glory to his great name for
all he has done for me, and my body to be decently interred in the
burying ground at Mahoning Church with something plain to mark the spot.

And as soon as convenient after my death I wish my executor to sell
all my personal property except so much as my beloved wife Nancy may
wish to retain for her own use and the proceeds to go to the payment
of all my just debts and funeral expences, & a note held by W.L.
Burns amount $250 I also wish my executor to sell my house and lot in
the borough of Marion Center No 18 in the plot of said town as soon as
can be without too great sacrifice. And also to sell the farm on which
I now reside in East Mahoning Township Indiana Co Pennsylvania and as
soon as he has money enough in his hands to do so to pay to our grand
daughter Ila McKee the sum of seventy five dollars per year from the
first of August A.D. 1892 as long as she remains with and works for
us. And what ever money is left after this and other debts and
expences are paid to be put to interest and so much of the interest
or principle as may be necessary for my wife's maintainence and that
she may be able to give the one tenth of the income of the money at
interest for the support and extention of the Gospel in the way that
she may think best so long as she is of sound mind and memory. And at
her death what ever funds may remain after the costs in executing this
will is paid I allow the one tenth to go to the Trustees of the
General Assembly, of the United Presbyterian Church of North America
to be for the advancement of Christ's Cause as that body may think
best and the remainder to be equally divided among my Children now
living, except the youngest R.A. McCreery who has already got his
full share of the farm or estate. And I do hereby nominate and
constitute and appoint my son John S. McCreery of Kerrmoor
Clearfield County Pennsylvania the executor of this my last will and
testament in testimony whereof I the said testator have here unto set
my hand and seal this 16 day of August A.D. 1895.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Robert McCreery as
his last will and testament in the presence of us and in his presence
and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Personally appeared before me James N. Stewart Register of Wills etc
in and for said County James McGregor and Geo. W. Stewart who being
duly sworn according to law depose and say that they were well
acquainted with Robert McCreery late of East Mahoning Twp., Decd.
That they have frequently seen him write his name as well as matters.
That said Robert McCreery is now dead and a certain instrument of
writing purporting to be his last will and Testament has been left by
the said deceased to which no witnesses signatures are attached. That
they have carefully examined said instrument of writing and the
signature of the said Robert McCreery thereto and are firmly
convinced that the said signature as well as the entire instrument is
in the own proper handwriting of the said Robert McCreery. And further
that they believe the said deceased was, at the date of said will of
sound mind and disposing memory to the best of their knowledge and
belief.

Personally came J.S. McCreery, who being duly sworn according to law,
says that Robt. McCreery, late of said county, died on the 2 day of
Feb., 1897, at 5 o'clock, P.M., and further saith not.

INDIANA COUNTY, SS.

I, J.S. McCreery affirm by Almighty God, the Searcher of all hearts,
that as Executor of the last will and Testament of Robert McCreery
late of East Mahoning Twp. will well and truly administer the goods
and chattels, rights and credits of said deceased, according to law,
and also that I will diligently and faithfully regard and well and
truly comply with the provisions of the law relative to collateral
inheritances, and that as I affirm.
