The Last Will aand testament of Mary Laffery of the township of Conemaugh

in the County of Indiana. I, Mary Laferty considering the uncertainty of

this Mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty

God for the same) do make and publish this my last Will and testament in

manner and form following that is to say I, Mary Lafferty will that all

my just debts as shall be by me owing at my death together with funeral

expences and all charges touching the proving of or otherwise concerning

this my last will shall in the first place out of my estate be fully paid

and satisfied. Item, I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth

Stephens son John fifty dollars to be paid out of the first that comes

due of the Estate left me by father. Item, I give and bequeath to my

brother John Lafferty's daughter Rachel fifty dollars out of the next

that comes due, my bed and beding, my Bureau and cow at my Mother's

decease. Item, I give and bequeath to the home Mishonery Society ten

dollars to be paid to Mr. Hugs for that purpose and the remainder to be

equally Divided between my brother Robert son John and my brother John

and his son John + my brother James' son Charles Willson and my sister

Martha's son John Irwin. Item, I give and bequeath to my mother the

remainder of my household and kitchen furniture. Item, I give and

bequeath to my sister Elizabeth my sadel at my Mother's decease. And

lastly make and Ordain my brother John Lafferty Sole Executor of this my

last will and testament bereby revoking all former Wills in testamony

whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this first day of July in

the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one.

Signed sealed published and delivered by the above named Mary A Laffery

to be her last Will and testament in the presence of us who at her

request and in her presence subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto.

Before me William McClaran Jr. Register for the Probate of Wills and

granting Letters of Administration in and for Indiana County was duly

proved and approved the foregoing as and for the last Will and testament

of Mary A. Laffery late of Conemaugh township in said County decd by the

Oaths of John W. Elser and John McKee the subscribing witnesses thereunto

the second day of July AD 1844.

And now to wit March 24 1845 Letters testamentary issued to John Lafferty

the Executor in said will named who was first duty sworn
