In the name of God, Amen. I, Samuel Beaty of Burrell Township, Indiana County,
Penna., being feeble in body, but of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do publish
this, my last will and testament
First. I commend my soul to God and my body to the earth to be buried in a becoming
manner
As to my worldly estate I dispose of as follows: I direct that all my just debts , funeral
expenses and cost of proving this, my last will and testament be fully paid and satisfied.
I will and bequeath the tract of land on which I now reside containing about seventy
acres, more or less, as well as all my personal effects to my daughter, Sara Waugaman,
wife of Paul Waugaman, to her, my sole heir of my estate. She the said Sara Waugaman
to pay all my just debts, funeral expenses , and cost of proving this, my last will and to
have head and foot stones set to my grave and those of my father and mother, including
suitable inscriptions on the same, at a cost of thirty three and one third dollars , or the
three to cost one hundred dollars.
Further, I appoint James Rutledge my executor to see that all my directions are carried
out. In witness whereof, I set my hand and seal this 18th day of December, 1873
