Edith Goodman Cornelius, 98, of Pipetown, died Friday, December 1, 2023 in
Greensburg Care Center, Hempfield Township.  She was born December 12, 1924 in
Hostetter, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (McMillen) Goodman.  She
was a member of Bethany Methodist Church, Latrobe and prior to retirement worked
at Newcomer Products, Derry Township.  In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Eugene B. Cornelius, a son Ronald B.
Cornelius, a grandson, Brock A. Cornelius, her brother, Cloyd Goodman, her
sister, Grenneth Mason and 2 nieces, Loretta Fletcher and Lib Lucas.  She is
survived by a son, Dennis Cornelius and wife Denise, daughter-in-law, Mary Ann
Cornelius, 2 grandsons, Christopher and Brian Jackson Cornelius, 3 great
grandsons, Damon, Isaac and Jake and a niece Gladys Kozusko.  Private services
were held Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., Pleasant Unity with
The Rev. James F. Podlesny, OSB as celebrant.  Private interment followed in
Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.  The family would like to offer our thanks to
the Greensburg Care staff for all the love, kindness and professionalism given
to mom and aunt Grenneth Mason.
