Bash, aged 29 years, of Tarr, formerly of near New Alexandria, was fatally injured in a railroad crossing accident at Smithton at 9:30 o'clock this morning. A loaded coal truck be was driving was truck by a freight train at the Brewery crossing. Frank Greig, aged 15 years, and Ray Ramsey, aged 15 years, riding in the truck with Mr. Bash, miraculously escaped with cuts and bruises, and while they received medical attention, were not seriously injured. The truck was demolished. The cab hooked onto the train and was carried 2,000 feet with the youths still in it. Mr. Bash's body was picked up 200 feet from the wreck. Mr. Bash was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Bash, who formerly resided on a farm five or six miles north of New Alexandria. Later they moved to Delmont and nine or ten years ago left there to locate at Tarr. The victim of this mornings accident is a married man and is survived by his wife and one child. His parents and the following brother and sisters also survive: Mrs. Henry Hellman, of New Alexandria; Mrs. Blanche Kersten, of Whitsett, near Uniontown,- Mrs. Pearl Baldwin, of Mt.
