Audrey B. Chambers, 63, of Latrobe RD 6, died Friday, Sept. 4, 1987, in Frick
Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. Born Jan. 15, 1924, in Unity Township,
she was the daughter of the late George and Blanche Lavelle Marks. Prior to
retirement, she was employed as head dietician by Baggaley Elementary School.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Corbett, who was killed in
action during World War II in 1943, and an infant son, Dennis James Chambers.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan S. Chambers; one daughter, Mrs. James
(Joan) Gross of Trauger; one son, Ivan Ray Chambers of Export; four
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Melcena Lundquist and Mrs. Herman (Louise)
Huhn, both of Latrobe; and two brothers, Edward Marks and Audley Marks, both of
Latrobe.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday
at the Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe. Services will be held at 10
am Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Judith Boggs officiating.
Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
