Paul E. Brosnick, 70, of Latrobe died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at his residence.
Born Jan. 6, 1936, in Greensburg, he was a son of the late Andrew and Jenny
(Marol) Brosnick. Paul was a member of St. Vincent Basilica, Unity Township. A
Korean War veteran, serving in the U. S. Marine Corps, he also was a member of
Thomas B. Anderson American Legion Post 515 in Latrobe, Old Crabtree Sportsmen's
Association and Cooperstown Veteran's and Sportsman's Association. Besides his
parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Andrew Brosnick,
and a sister, Agnes. Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie Celesnik Brosnick of
Latrobe; two sons, Paul E. Brosnick Jr. of Greensburg and Stanley E. Brosnick at
home; two brothers, Albert Brosnick and William Brosnick, both of Luxor, and
three sisters, Irene Noel, Pauline Tometsko and Evelyn Cackowski, all of
Greensburg. There were no public visitations. Family and friends were invited to
attend a funeral Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent Basilica, Unity Township,
with the Rev. Justin M. Matro, OSB, as celebrant. Interment was private.
Arrangements were handled by John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St.,
Latrobe.
