Joseph A. Brosnick, 50, of Cherry Tree, Pa., (formerly of Luxor) died Saturday,
Dec. 29, 1990, in Miners Hospital of Northern Cambria. He was born March 21,
1940, in Luxor, a son of the late Andrew and Jennie E. Marol Brosnick. He was a
member of St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Amole, and a brother, Andrew Brosnick Jr.
He is survived by four brothers, George and Paul Brosnick, both of Latrobe, and
Albert and William Brosnick, both of Luxor; five sisters, Mary Johnson of
Wyandotte, Mich., Mrs. Russell (Helen) Nagel of Latrobe and Mrs. John (Irene)
Noel, Evelyn Cackowski and Mrs. William (Pauline) Tometsko, all of Greensburg,
and a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Friends were
received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601
Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St.
Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with the Rev. Aloysius Carasella, OSB, as
celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.
