Mrs. Jennie E. Brosnick, 83, of Luxor, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1986, in Oakhill
Rest Home, Hempfield Township. Born Feb. 28, 1902, in Luxor, she was a daughter
of the late John and Cecelia Ruffner Marol. She was a member of St. Bartholomew
Catholic Church, Crabtree. In addition in her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Andrew Brosnick, in 1976; one daughter, Agnes Amole, and one
son, Andrew Brosnick. She is survived by five sons, George of Latrobe RD 4, Paul
of Latrobe RD 6, Joseph of Creekside and Albert and William, both of Luxor; five
daughters, Mrs. Mary Johnson in Michigan, Mrs. Russell (Helen) Nagel of Latrobe,
Mrs. John R. (Irene) Noel of Greensburg RD 7, Mrs. Evelyn Cackowski of
Greensburg RD 6 and Mrs. William (Pauline) Tometsko of Greensburg; two sisters,
Mrs. Catherine Beaken of Latrobe and Mrs. Theresa Burke of Latrobe RD 6; 18
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9
p.m. Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Robert J. Kepple Funeral
Home, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with the Rev. Aloysius
D. Carasella, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery,
Crabtree. Memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or a favorite
charity.
