Andrew Brosnick, 77, of Sekora Trailer Park, Luxor, died Friday morning in the
Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was burn Feb. 28, 1899, in Vanderbilt, a
son of the late Leon and Mary Lentz Brosnick. He was a retired coal miner and a
member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Crabtree. He was predeceased by a
son, Andrew Jr., in 1925. He is survived by his widow, Jennie Marol Brosnick;
five sons, George of Latrobe RD 4, Paul of Latrobe RD 2, Joseph of the Polk
State Hospital, Albert in Washington, and William of Luxor; six daughters, Mrs.
Mary Johnson of Wyandotte, Mich., Mrs. Russell (Helen) Nagel of Latrobe. Mrs.
Kenneth (Agnes) Amole of Orchard Park, N.Y., Mrs. John R. ( Irene) Noel of
Greensburg RD 7, Mrs. Evelyn Cackowski of Greensburg RD 6 and Mrs. William
(Pauline) Tometsko of Greensburg; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Susan) Hodge in
Arizona, Mrs. Helen Young of Philadelphia and Mrs. Catherine Heppner in Arizona;
one brother, Pete Brosnick of Los Angeles, Calif., and 18 grandchildren. Friends
received at the Robert J. Kepple Funeral Home Inc., 524 North Main St.,
Greensburg, Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree,
with the Rev. Kieran Rodgers as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill
Cemetery, Crabtree.
