Born in Pittsburgh Jan. 17, I902, she was a daughter of the late Alice Regina and Merle Floyd Painter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Alva Chambers. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Banks of Cokeburg; one son, William A. of West Chester; one sister, Miss Nalda White of California, Pa.; one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St.; Bentleyville. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. James Show officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville.
