Linda Lou Burkhart, 52, of Youngstown, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in Latrobe
Area Hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1950, in McGregor, Iowa, she was a daughter of Karl
F. and Anna H. (Hayes) Burkhart of Youngstown. Linda was a member of Sacred
Heart Church, Youngstown. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Brook Burkhart.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Karl F. Jr. and
wife, Linda Burkhart, of Latrobe; her sister, Karol Liptak of Youngstown; a
nephew, Shawn Burkhart and wife, Karen; two nieces, Sheri Sprinkle and husband,
Al, and Stacey Liptak; two grandnephews, and a grandniece. Visitation will be 3
to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon
St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart
Church, Youngstown, with the Rev. Chad Ficorilli, OSB, as celebrant. Interment
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township.
