Mrs. Ruth M. Baker, 66, of Latrobe R. D. 5 (Kingston), died at Latrobe Area
Hospital Wednesday afternoon. She was born Aug. 4, 1905, in Youngstown, Pa. Her
husband, Joseph Baker, preceded her in death in 1957. She was a practical nurse.
She is survived by four children, Jack and Gordon Ridge, Mrs. James (Ruth)
Heffelfinger and Mrs. Raymond (Jane) Ashbaugh, all of Latrobe, and 13
grandchildren. A son, Austin P. Ridge, preceded in death Aug. 4, 1941. Friends
will be received at the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Trinity
Lutheran Church, Latrobe, the Rev. John L. Reiner, D. D., officiating. Interment
will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Twp. Members of the Latrobe Hook & Ladder
Co. will meet at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday.
