Montgomery Co., PA Wills
Book 11, pages 214/215
Will of Solomon M. Bunn
Proved & Approved
February 9th A.D. 1865
In view of the uncertainty of life and being in feeble health, I do hereby issue
this my last will and testament, and before consummating the same, do say to my children
Horace F. Bunn, William H. Bunn and Hannah A. Kurtz that it is not for the reason that I
do not desire to will to them their Equal portions of my estate, but because of my desire
to have my beloved wife Abalonia Fitzgerald Bunn free and untrammeled (believing that by
this means more can be realized from my estate), that I am led to create this my last
will and testament in manner following: I do give, grant and devise unto my beloved
wife, Abalonia Fitzgerald Bunn, my entire Estate Real and Personal, vesting in her and
her alone all right and title and appoint my sons Horace F. Bunn and William H. Bunn,
M.D. and Jesse Fitzgerald, Jr. my Executors of this my last will and testament. Witness
my hand and seal this seventeenth day of September A.D. 1864.
Witness present at signing Solomon M. Bunn {Seal}
Alteration from "do" to "to" and erasure
of "my son" made before signing

Personally appeared before me Hannah A. Kurtz and Amanda M. Bunn the subscribing
witnesses to the foregoing Will and being duly affirmed according to law did depose and
say that they were present, saw and heard the same to be his last will and testament and
at the time of so doing he was of a sound mind and understanding, to the best of their
knowledge and belief, and that they signed as witnesses to the same at the request of
said testator and affirmed and subscribed before me this 9th day of February 1865.

M. Bunn, late of Whitpain Township, deceased, was duly Proved and Letters Testamentary
Granted to Horace F. Bunn, William H. Bunn, M.D. and Jesse Fitzgerald, Jr. the Executors
in said will named, they having first been duly affirmed according to
law. I. B. Houpt, Register
