Abraham Wommer or Wimmer
probated 9 aug 1803

In the Name of God Amen

I, Abraham Wommer of the County of Frederick and state of Maryland being weak in 
Body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this 
my last will and Testament in manner and form following (That is to say)

First. I give and bequeath unto my belove wife Hannah Wimmer my negro girl Sarah 
and any children she has or may have, my horse and cow, my Household & Kitchen 
furniture of what kind or discription and in short my property of what nature or 
kind, accepting only money out at interest, debts that may be due me or money on 
hand by me, to be hers, her heirs and assigns and futher my desire is that three 
hundred pounds be put out at Interest which Interest to be drawn received used 
and enjoyed by my said wife Hannah during her natural life after which the 
principle to be applied as hereinafter directed.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son in law Joseph Disbrow Four Hundred Pounds 
to be paid him out of the first monies collected after applying three hundred 
Pounds as above directed.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son in law Solomon Sparkes Four hundred Pounds 
- two hundred of it to be paid out of the money put out at Interest for the use 
of my Wife Hannah at the time of her decease.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son in law James Drummond Two Hundred Pounds, 
one hunred of it to be paid out of the money put out at Interest for the use of 
my wife Hannah at the time of her decease, the remainder to be paid him in 
proportion as it may come in or be collected allowing him to retain in his own 
hand whatever sum be may be Indebted to me as a part.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son in law Joseph Hayes one hundred Pounds 
allowing him to receive or hold the same out of the Notes or Bonds that will be 
last due from him to me and given for the purchase of land.

And lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my worldly goods and effects of 
what kind or nature soever I give and bequeath to my aforesaid son in law Joseph 
Disbrow. And I hereby nominate and appoint my said Son in Law Joseph Disbrow and 
my said beloved wife Hannah Wimmer Executor and Executrix of this my last will 
Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ______ day of 
_________Eighteen hundred and three.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Abraham Wimmer to be his 
last Testament in the presence of us who have at his request hereunto subscribed 
our names as Witnesses in the presence of each other and of the Testator

Frederick County August 9th 1803, Then came Joseph Disbrow and Hannah Wimmer and 
made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that the aforegoing Instrument of 
writing is the true and whole will and Testament of Abraham Wimmer late of 
Frederick County Deceased that hath come to their hands and possession and that 
they do not know of any other.

Frederick County August 9th 1803 Then came Henry Kieffer & George Woolf two of 
the subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last will & Testament of Abraham 
Wimmer late of Frederick County Deceased and made Oath on the Holy Evangels of 
Almighty God that they did see the Testator therein named sign & seal this wil 
and that they heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last 
will and Testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their 
apprehensions of a sound and disposing mind memory and understanding that they 
respectively subscribed their names as witnesses to this will in the presence 
and at the request of the Testator and that they did also see Thomas Maxwell & 
John Zumbrun the other subscribing witnesses sign their names as witnesses to 
said will in the presence and at the request of the Testator and all in the 
presence of each other.
