Mary M. Murphy Will

I Mary M. Murphy of Frederick County, State of Maryland, declare this to be my 
last Will and Testament after my debts and funeral charges are paid .  First, I 
give and bequeath to my daughter Sophia E. Grabill one bureau, one washstand, 
one wardrobe, one table, one bedsted and bedding, half dozen chairs.  Second, I 
give and bequeath to my six children as follow all my bed clothing viz, to 
Sophia E. Grabill, Susan Wilson, Hezekiah Murphy, Richard Murphy, Joseph and 
David Murphy to be equally divided .  Thirdly I give and bequeath to my son 
Joseph Murphy the twenty five dollars that he is charged with.  Fourth, I give 
and bequeath to my son Richard Murphy nineteen dollars in addition to the six 
dollars he has received.  Fifth, I give and bequeath to my daughter Susan 
Wilson, twenty five dollars that she is charged with.  Sixth, I give and 
bequeath to my son Samuel T. Murphy one dollar as he has received a good share.  
Seventh and lastly I give and bequeath all my remaining property to my son David 
Murphy and Sophia E. Grabill to be equally divided.  In testimony whereof I 
herto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord 
eighteen hundred and eighty three, signed, sealed published and delared by the 
above named Mary M. Murphy as and for her last Will and Testament in our 
presence, who at her request in her presence and in presence of each other have 
hereto set our hand as witnesses hereto.
